Malibu exists since 1895 and comes from Barbados in the Caribbean. It is a fruit liqueur made from white rum, sugar and natural coconut extracts. Due to its relatively low alcohol content Malibu is light and tasty. Malibu is an important ingredient in many cocktails and a must in any bar.Tasting notes:Color: Clear. Nose: Sweet, coconut. Taste: Sweet, coconut. Finish: Long lasting. It is seldom drunk pure, but is usually mixed with milk, orange or cherry juice, although the coconut taste is reduced and is therefore hardly noticeable.
