The story of this blended malt begins on a journey in the south of Spain, when John Glaser, 'Whiskymaker' of Compass Box, learned a lot about the local sherry wines. Years later, when he discovered the typical Scotch whisky, sherry became a topic again, as many whiskies get a finish in their casks. The Compass Box THE STORY OF THE SPANIARD is a blend of malt whiskies stored in sherry casks.
