This Stauning calendar box contains a 0.7l bottle of Stauning RYE Floor Malted Danish Whisky, as well as an original tumbler with 3cl marker and a gold marker. The bottle has been marked with a date line. The marker included in the package is used to gradually tick off the 24 marks on the line - so you can tell how far away Christmas Eve is by looking at the bottle. On the inside of the lid of this box are 24 chronologically arranged little doors with interesting facts about Stauning, cocktail recipe ideas and anecdotes from the history of the distillery. Stauning Rye Danish Whisky is made from 51% rye malt and 49% barley malt. All of these ingredients are sourced from the local malting floor and produced in-house at Stauning Distillery using traditional production methods. This whisky requires a sense of adventure, malting the rye, as in this case, is considered a rather unusual method. Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Fresh bread, pepper, wine gum.
