This gin was named after the Beefeaters, also called Yeoman Warder - the guards and tourist guides of the Tower of London are called Beefeaters. The Beefeater London Blood Orange Premium Gin is produced in the Beefeater Gin Distillery in London, which has existed since 1863 and was known as the Chelsea Distillery. James Burrough bought the distillery and left the management to the Taylor family. In 1995 the distillery got a new master distillery and the Taylors left the distillery after about 100 years. The Beefeater Gin was created thanks to James Burroughs imagination and above all his joy of experimentation. In Burroughs recipe book from 1895 it is defined which herbal ingredients the Beefeater Gin may contain. The basis for London Blood Orange Gin is the traditional London Dry Gin, which is refined with blood oranges after distillation. Botanicals: juniper, lemon peel, coriander seeds, almonds, orange peel, angelica roots, angelica seeds, iris root, liquorice, natural blood orange aromas.Tasting notes:Colour: Strong orange.
