The distillery A.H. Riise is located on St. Thomas Island, an American Virgin Island in the Caribbean. Before this island became an American territory, it was a Danish colony. The pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy around the 1840s but also to produce alcohol. Based on years of experience, carefully selected spices and a long aging in charred oak barrels, the A.H. Riise Black Barrel Navy Spiced Spirit Drink got its name.Tasting notes:Colour: walnut brown.
