The distillery A.H. Riise is located on St. Thomas Island, an American Virgin Island in the Caribbean. Before this island became an American territory, it was a Danish colony. Around the 1840s, the pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy but also to produce alcohol.

This limited edition was released to mark the 100th anniversary of the merger of the former Danish West Indies with the United States of America. The reunion took place on 31 March 1917.
In this rum, the oldest, rarest and noblest rums of the distillery merge. The storage and individual varieties are in PX, Oloroso Sherry and Port Casks.

Limited to 10.000 bottles worldwide!

Nose: Caramel, butterscotch, sugar cane.
Taste: Sweetish, oak wood, leather, sherry, port.
