This tequila is still produced in a small village called Jesus Maria. It matures for 9 months in old oak barrels, which were previously used for Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey.

Tasting notes:
A soft start is followed by a fresh, relatively acidic second impression, which is followed by the fruity freshness of red apples and wildflower honey. The finish is long and smooth, with spice of pepper, the taste of dark chocolate and cedar wood.
