The name "Dervenn" means "oak" in the Breton language. As the name suggests, the Armorik Dervenn is stored in oak barrels, namely in Virign Oak barrels and thus owes its colour to the fresh oak. For every oak tree felled, a new young tree is planted by the Warenghem distillery. Distilled: May 2012 Limited to 2,000 bottles worldwide - only 300 bottles for the German market.Tasting notes:Colour: Rich gold with amber reflections. Nose: Lush, complex, balanced, notes of leather and fruit, peaches. Taste: Full-bodied, rich, sweet, fruit, notes of vanilla, cinnamon, leather, hints of spicy allspice. Finish: Long lasting, full-bodied, spicy, slightly smoky.
