The Hess family winery is located in the middle of the Mendocino region. In this Mediterranean climate, the grapes ripen particularly well. The warm days and cool evenings give the wine this strong color as well as the unmistakable aroma. Tasting notes:In the glass ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is fruity of raspberries, ripe cherries, sage and pepper. On the palate powerful, elegant and fruity of raspberries and wild cherries with a fine acidity. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: 86% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Sirah, 2% Carignan. Aging: 1-2 years in French oak barrels. This wine is an excellent food companion.
