Benriach is always looking for an eclectic mix of barrels from around the world, selected for their exceptional character and flavors to give to the whiskey. The barrels are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple distilled. The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition, and with the end of 2019 creates a new range of products that will bring out even more the variety and versatility of Benriach's "orchard fruit style", covering the entire spectrum of whiskey tastes. The color palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural environment of Speyside. Benriach 25 Years Old FOUR CASK MATURED Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made from a combination of unpeated and peated whisky and four casks aged for at least 25 years in sherry casks, bourbon casks, oak casks and Madeira Island wine casks. The production is done by the Master Blender Rachel Barrie. Tasting notes:Color: Strong amber. Nose: Fruity, notes of smoked apricot, dark cherry chocolate, hazelnut, toffee. Taste: Rich, full-bodied, notes of baked fruit, toasted oak, orange, cinnamon, caramel. Finish: Long lasting.
