The maturation of the Benromach 10 Years Old takes place to 80% in Bourbon barrels and to 20% in sherry barrels. Afterwards this Scotch Whisky gets an Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish.Tasting notes:Colour: gold. Nose: fruity, nutty, sherry, chocolate, hints of spices, green apples, peat. Taste: Raspberries, blackberries, sherry, peat, hints of oak, malt. Finish: Long finish, malt, sherry and peat.
