Florio Marsala Terre Arse is a versatile Marsala and an excellent aperitif. The grapes come from vineyards in the districts of Birgi and Spagnola in the municipality of Trapani in Marsala. It is produced exclusively from Grillo grapes, which are harvested in the last week of September. The wine is aged for at least 8 years in old oak barrels and bottled for at least 6 years before being sold on the market. Tasting notes:In the glass old gold color. Intense nose of bitter almonds and burnt honey. The palate is dry, harmonious and notes of vanilla and licorice root. Grape variety: 100% Grillo. Region: Sicily. Vintage: 2004 Aging: oak barrel.
