The Chairman's Reserve Rum was first produced in 1999, under the supervision of 'Chairman' Laurie Barnard. This rum is supposed to represent the style of the St. Lucia Rums. This unique rum is the first vintage in the Chairman's Reserve brand's new Vintage range. The distillates come from two different stills: John Dore Pot Still and Coffey Still. First, the rums are stored separately for 4 years in different barrels and then mature for another 10 years. Distilled: 2009 Bottled: 2021 Tasting notes:Colour: Bright gold. Nose: Pleasantly balanced, woody, complex, notes of honey, oranges, raisins, vanilla, toffee, brown sugar, green apples. Taste: Slightly sweet, oak, raisins, hints of vanilla, caramel. Finish: Long lasting, toffee.
