The wine is 100% Grenache, grown on sandy soils, so an elegant orientation. 100% unraveled. Immense red fruit nose. Wild strawberry, wild raspberry, a little violet, radiating deep red-fruity spice, fine milk chocolate, a little clove and cinnamon, immensely flowing ethereal, dense and opulent, all-encompassing, but still charming in its all-encompassing opulence. The whole thing continues seamlessly in the mouth. Very dense red fruit, but super fine, super charming, strawberry and raspberry, plum, some red sweet cherry, thyme and a hint of rosemary, very dense, very round, very long, fine milk chocolate, fine salty minerality at the end. Not a huge wine, but one that completely engages with its charm and fullness, a simply charming wine with an archetypal Chateauneuf style. It's great fun.
