The town of Clonakilty is located on the south coast of Ireland. The land around the Clonakilty distillery is already in the hands of the eighth generation of the Scully family. The climate on the south coast, with fresh air from the Atlantic Ocean, offers excellent conditions for growing the grain. The Clonakilty Bordeaux Finish Single Grain Whisky is made by the post-maturing of a 9 year old single grain whisky in Bordeaux casks.
