In the southern Highlands lies the small distillery Edradour. The Edradour 22 Years Old Oloroso Cask Finish was distilled in 1999 and then matured for 8 years in American white oak casks. It is then decanted into butts that previously contained Oloroso Sherry. Distilled: 1999 Bottled: 2021 Limited to 1,331 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Color: Dark mahogany. Nose: Fruity, rich, notes of sugared almonds, toffee, raisins, nutmeg. Taste: Notes of oloroso, coconuts, apples, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting.
