In the meantime, you can look forward to the Wayfare again, limited and as a small batch, but still. The Wayfare is 4 1/2 to 9 years old and consists of 95% regular malt and 5% smoked "woodsmoked" malt. A blend of 50% Sherry Hogsheads and 50% Port, Marsala, Malaga, and GrandCru Claret Hogsheads, with an average Angel's Share of (in total) over 20%, is the focus. Bottled: 2020 Limited to 2,746 bottles worldwide.Tasting notes:Colour: Bright amber. Nose: Luscious fruit cukes, sultanas, notes of sweet berries, speculoos, light caramel cream, oak, hints of salt, pecans, mocha.
