The Cava de Oro brand is a high quality 100% agave tequila brand. The tequila comes from the Tequilera Puerta de Hierro. This produces handcrafted tequilas in El Arenal Jalisco, Mexico. The blue agaves are carefully harvested. Four varieties are then distilled: Plata, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo. The EXTRA AGED AÑEJO tequila is a limited edition that is aged for 24 months in French white oak barrels, followed by an additional 3 months in unused barrels. It is made from locally grown Weber blue agave. Tasting notes:Color: Dark gold. Nose: Sweet, caramel, agave notes, vanilla, toasted oak. Taste: Fruity, sweet, notes of caramel, agave, vanilla, oak.
