The distillery was founded by a group of dairy farmers. Until today the Hellyers Road Distillery produces high quality whisky and exports to more than 20 countries. The Hellyers Road SLIGHTLY PEATED Tasmania Single Malt Whisky is a blend of the Hellyers Road ORIGNAL Single Malt with a hint of peat. The maturing process takes place in American ex-bourbon casks; without cold filtration and without colorants. Awards: - Gold medal in 2018 at the World Whiskies AwardsTasting notes:Colour: gold. Nose: Fresh, lemon, orange zest. Taste: Ginger, smoke, black pepper. Finish: Long lasting.
