The Highland Park Distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson in 1798. Today, the distillery is owned by The Edrington Group.
It is the northernmost whisky distillery in Scotland and is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland.
Highland Park's distillery buildings are listed on the Scottish Heritage List and produce around 2.5 million litres of whisky a year.
The Highland Park Cask Stregth Release No. 1 matures in American oak casks seasoned with sherry.
The bottling both without chill filtration and without added water or dye.

Nose: Sweet aromas, slightly smoky.
Taste: Warm, exotic spices, crème brélée.
