"Only those who search will find what they are looking for" - this is the motto under which the Scarabus Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was created. Named after an area in Islay, the term Scarabus means "rocky place". The motives on the bottle were inspired by John Francis Campbell - he was a Scottish scholar and author. For the Scarabus Batch Strength a small selection of Scarabus Islay single malt barrels is used to fill them at a higher alcohol content. The typical sweet and peaty Scarabus character is preserved and refined by an additional intensity, full body and a longer lasting finish.Tasting notes:Color: Amber. Nose: Smoke, peat, sweet vanilla.
