For the Feis Ile - The Islay Festival of Music and Malt, independent bottler Hunter Laing has once again launched 'The Kinship' range. The Kinship again consists of six bottlings this year, but not all of them are from the Islay region this year. The Kinship LAPHROAIG 20 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky matures for 20 years in oak casks and is bottled without cold filtration and without colorants. Limited to 470 bottles worldwide!Tasting notes:Colour: Rich gold. Nose: Very oily, notes of motor oil, aluminium, hints of cinnamon, raisins, honey nut loops muesli. Taste: Bitter, oily, hazelnut, walnut, notes of seaweed, fruit cake, warm spices, hints of peat smoke. Finish: Long lasting, smoky, liquorice.
