Moment Fjällmark is an elegant single malt whisky, matured in casks that previously contained Swedish cloudberry wine, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry. A minimal amount of smoke gives the whisky a bit more spice in the aftertaste. The result is a whisky with lots of oak and fruitiness, together with notes of cloudberry, sweet grapes, vanilla, caramel fudge and white chocolate. The youngest casks used for Moment Fjällmark aged for 8 years, while the oldest casks aged for 13 years.Tasting notes:Colour: dark amber. Nose: fruity, woody, spicy, warm butterfudge, white chocolate, sweet grapes, pears, notes of almonds, ginger, wine, hints of tobacco, leather, salt. Taste: Very fruity, spicy, slightly salty, notes of oak, sour cloudberries, toasted oak, tobacco leaves, sherry, toffee, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting, notes of oak.
