This Old Monk Gold Reserve Rum is the older brother of the "normal" 7 year old Old Monk Rum.
The Gold Reserve is a blend of rums matured for at least 12 years in oak barrels. Old Monk rums are blended using both molasses-based and fresh sugar cane juice.

Tasting notes:

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Mild, slightly sweetish.
Taste: Smooth, mild, fruity, slightly sweet.
Finish: Long lasting, sweet.
