The rums of Panamá-Pacific are produced in the San Carlos Distillery in Panama. The distillery is located in the province of Herrera, which creates the perfect conditions for rum production with a hot and sometimes humid climate all year round. The Panamá-Pacific 23 Años Rum is characterized by its golden color with reddish nuances. The maturation takes place for 3 years in bourbon barrels. Then this rum is aged for 20 years in rye whisky barrels. These barrels are slow roasted and not pre-burned. This creates an exceptional balance between oak and rum.
