The Paul Kerschbaum winery is one of the leading wineries in Austria. It is located in the Blaufränkischland Horitschon, in Burgenland. The term "Blaufränkischland" is used to describe a wine-growing region, such as Mittelburgenland, where mainly the grape variety Blaufränkisch is cultivated. Paul Kerschbaum's goal is to produce powerful, long-lasting wines with a touch of wood. In 2011, Paul Kerschbaum put the production of the wines into the hands of his son, Michael.
