The distillery Pfau was founded in 1987 and under the management of Valentin Latschen from a small "cellar distillery" to a quality distillery known throughout Europe. Distillation is carried out exclusively in copper pot stills using the Rauh and Feinbrand processes. Since August 2012, Schlumberger Wein- und Sektkellerei has held a stake in the Pfau Distillery. The apple brandy from the barrel matures for about 2.5 years in oak barrels and is composed of the following apple varieties: Crown Prince Rudolf, Boskoop, Brünnerling, Bohnapfel and Lavanttaler Bananenapfel. Tasting notes:Color: Ocher. Nose: Fruity, strong, fresh. Taste: Powerful, fruity, spicy, spicy, juicy. Finish: Long lasting.
