Riga Black Balsam is stored in oak barrels, where its characteristic strength and somewhat bittersweet taste can develop. The unique recipe was created in the 18th century in Riga by the pharmacist Abraham Kunz. A blend of high-quality 8-year-old French brandies. Tasting notes:Colour: Deep dark brown. Nose: Bitter, sweetish, caramel, fruit. Taste: Balsamic, creamy, velvety, a little bitter, fruity, black pepper, caramel, wood. Finish: Long lasting. Enjoy the XO pure or in a cocktail.
