Ron Esclavo is a premium rum range from the Dominican Republic. From the cultivation of the sugar cane to the bottling, everything takes place in the Dominican Republic; the distillery behind it is Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos. "Esclavo" is the Spanish word for slave and eponymous for this rum range, which pays homage to all the people who paid a high price in the dark chapter of rum production. This rum is aged in American and French oak barrels. The second maturation takes place for another 12 months in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. Bottling: October 2021 Limited to 955 bottles. Tasting notes:Color: Dark amber. Nose: Spicy, sweet, ripe fruit, beeswax. Taste: Fruity, balanced, full-bodied, notes of vanilla and coconut. Finish: Long lasting.
