The Scheiblhofer winery is a family business and cultivates a total vineyard area of 30 hectares. All the grapes are processed on the estate's own premises and marketed exclusively in bottles. The winery is not only very well known for its Prädikatsweine, but also for its top red wines "Big John". Johann Scheiblhofer achieved more than 300 gold medals at nationwide awards, thus achieving the most awards nationwide. Tasting notes:Deep ruby red in the glass. Multilayered, fruity nose of black currants and caramel. On the palate complex, multilayered with a toasty oak flavor. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.
