Sea Shepherd has made it their mission to protect the sea and its creatures - poachers are pursued, whaling is prevented and all this to save the animals from extinction. The organization is explicitly financed by donations and consists mainly of volunteers - 10 percent of the sales of the gin are donated by Kirsch Import to the organization Sea Shepherd.
