Before Master Distiller Jim McEwan retired in 2015, he handed over his recipe for the Black Art range to his successor. Quote from Adam Hannett, Head Distiller: "I have to say I took the recipe from Jim's hand and dutifully ignored it. This had to be my Black Art." This release is Hannett's fifth. In which casks the whiskey matured, only he knows. The 29-year-old Bruichladdich is bottled without cold filtration and without additional colorants.
