The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is bottled in cask strength by the Glenfarclas Whisky Distillery. The Glenfarclas Distillery requires only 3 ingredients to make its whiskies; fresh spring water, malted barley and yeast. Glenfarclas was one of the first distilleries to market its single malts in cask strength. The Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength has an original cask strength of 63.5% by volume, with the 'Angel's Share' reducing the alcohol content to 60% by volume after 8 to 10 years. The whiskies are stored in former Bourbon and Sherry casks. The name of the single malt '105' refers to its alcohol content as a proof.
