Glenmorangie Distillery is located in the north of Scotland and was named in 1843 after the Scottish Gaelic term "Glen of Tranquility".
"Glen of Tranquility" describes the quiet and peaceful location on the banks of the picturesque Dornoch Firth, an extensive estuary.
To ensure the conservation of the Dornoch Firth, Glenmorangie has formed a partnership with the Society for the Conservation of Marine Mammals.
In honour of this special place, the Glenmorangie Dornoch Limited Edition was bottled.
