The Kowald winery is located on the Styrian Thermenland wine route and is managed by Wolfgang Kowald. A total of over 14 hectares of vineyards are cultivated and more than 10 grape varieties are cultivated and processed. The Kowald-Uhudler is mainly pressed from the Concord grape variety. Typical is the intensive smell of wild strawberries. Uhudler can only be produced from direct carriers, i.e. ungrafted varieties, which have their home in southern Burgenland.
