Proclamation Blended Irish Whiskey is a tribute to the events and players of the Irish Easter Proclamation in 1916, the document that proclaimed the founding of the Irish Republic. Proclamation is named after the fateful declaration of independence. This whiskey is a blend of the finest Irish grain and malt whiskeys. It is produced in small, individual batches. It goes through a, for Ireland typical, triple distillation. Subsequently, the whiskey components mature in different types of barrels. In the finished blend, grain whiskey from bourbon barrels and malt whiskey from sherry barrels meet.
