The word pumpkin comes from the word "pepon", in English "big melon", and was later changed by colonists to "pumpkin".
Colonists, often filled the pumpkins with cream, honey, eggs and spices and cooked the pumpkin in the hot ashes so that it was completely blackened and the contents made a delicious meal.
The Pumpkin Face Ultra Premium Dominican Rums were created in honour of this tradition.
The Pumpkin Face Reserve Ultra Premium Dominician Rum consists of blends from 1980, 1990 and 2000, which have matured for up to 20 years.
