This single malt was subjected to a double cask maturation. First, the whiskey is stored in former beer barrels and then in old wine barrels. The spring water for the whisky comes from the Alpstein. Tasting notes:Colour: Gold with copper reflections. Nose: Light, fruity, caramelized ginger, dark berries, toasted aromas, wood. Taste: Spicy, sweetish, woody, ripe pears, notes of lemon, cinnamon, toasted aromas, green wood. Finish: Long lasting, floral, intense roasted notes.
