The Zenato winery was founded in 1960 by Sergio Zenato. The family business is located on the southeastern shore of Lake Garda. Today the Zenato family cultivates over 60 hectares of vineyards planted mainly with Trebbiano grapes. This noble wine is produced from dried grapes of the classic grape varieties Corvina and Rondinella. After the grapes are fermented, the aging process takes place for 30 months in French barriques and then for 12 months in bottle. Tasting notes:Ruby red in the glass. This red wine has varied aromas. On the nose of dried fruit, cherries, plums and raisins. The palate is warm and soft with a good and dense structure. Its alcohol content is tamed by its perfect tannic structure. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 5% Molinara, 5% Sangiovese. Aging: 3-6 years in barriques. Residual sugar: 5,5 g/l. Acidity: 6.00 g/l. Closure: Natural cork. Drinking temperature: 7-9°C. Storage potential: Until 2031. This wine is an optimal food companion for dishes with red meat, game, parmesan, spicy cheese, figs and also with Asian dishes.
