The Shinshu Distillery was founded in 1985 and is owned by Hombo Shuzo Group Ltd. The name 'Cosmo' refers to one of the mountain peaks surrounding the distillery in the heart of the Japanese mountains at 798 meters above sea level. This limited edition of the classic Cosmo, gets an additional finish in Manzanilla sherry barrels. This further 6 month aging gives the Cosmo fruity and chocolaty aromas.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Spicy, fruity, dark chocolate. Taste: Fruity, vanilla, hints of maple syrup. Finish: Long lasting, fruity, slightly bitter.
