The Deadhead bottlings are produced in Veracruz, a city rich in tradition in Mexico. The premium rums are presented as shrunken heads, which were taken home by the Mexican natives as a victory trophy after a fight. The look of the bottles also reflects the so-called "Día de Los Muertos", the Day of the Undead. A traditional holiday in Mexico. This Deadhead rum is distilled in pot and column stills. The distillate then matures for 6 years in oak barrels.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: apples, pears, mint, hints of chocolate, coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste: Notes of grass, caramel, spices, aniseed. Finish: Long lasting.
