The Temple Bar distillery is a family business which is run by the third generation. In 1840 Tom Cleary's grandfather founded a liquor and wine shop in Ireland. The Temple bar was the foundation stone of the distillery. The single malt matures in the distillery's cellar for 14 years before it gets its finish in Malbec barrels from Argentina. Awards: - Double Gold in 2019 at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco - Bronze in 2019 at the World Spirits Competition in Singapore - "Best Irish Pot Still" in 2019 at the World Whiskies Awards Limited to 1000 bottles worldwide!Tasting notes:Colour: gold-copper. Nose: excellent balance, dark chocolate, wet wood, tobacco, summer fruits, Malbec aromas. Taste: Full-bodied, complex, oily, sweet cocoa, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting.
