The Aberlour whiskey distillery is located in Charlestown of Aberlour in Scotland. The distillery has passed through numerous hands since its founding in 1826 and is now owned by Chivas Brothers. This 18-year-old single malt was bottled entirely in exquisite Oloroso sherry casks and then combined with Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, giving this Aberlour its unique flavor. Tasting notes:Color: Golden brown. Nose: Delightful fruitiness accompanied by toffee, caramel, orange notes. Palate: Full-bodied, dried fruit, honey notes, chocolate covered raisins, hints of nutmeg. Finish: Long lasting, balanced, vanilla, oak nuances.
