The brand Ron Cristóbal is named after the great explorer Christopher Columbus. The navigator discovered America in 1492. The rum was named after the flagship Columbus, Santa Maria. This Limited Edition receives the second maturation for 20 months in 225 litre Moscatel French oak barrels. These barrels come from Favaios in Portugal and were used to store white wine and Moscatel wine. Favaios is one of the best Moscatel regions in the world.
