The Scapegrace brand was born when two New Zealand guys got together, spent hours in bars and lounges and finally created their own gin. The water used for bottling doesn't have to wander over vast stretches of land or struggle through clouds of exhaust. The rain that hits New Zealand soil today is the same as that which hit New Zealand 80 years ago. The water used for these distillates has actually been filtered through rock before it reaches the ground water - Scapegrace tastes clean because it is clean! This gin is produced by the Rogue Society Distilling. Scapegrace is made from spring water from the Southern Alps of New Zealand and 12 different botanicals. The name "Scapegrace" is a traditional word for rogue or rascal and is thus dedicated to the "dark history" of gin. The black-tinted bottle is based on an antique gin bottle.
