Before Master Distiller Jim McEwan retired in 2015, he handed over his recipe for the Black Art range to his successor.

The 26 year old Bruichladdich was bottled without cold filtration and without additional colouring.
Nose: Complex, citrus notes, lime peel, oranges, caramel, dried apricots, tobacco, maple syrup. toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, honey, cooked pears, some leather.
Taste: Citrus, warm honey, walnuts, toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, dried apricots, reminiscent of stone fruit.
Finish: Long lasting, soft, sweetish, lemon cake, milk chocolate.
