The 26 year old Bruichladdich was bottled without cold filtration and without additional colouring.
Tasting notes:
Colour: Medium brown.Nose: Complex, citrus notes, lime peel, oranges, caramel, dried apricots, tobacco, maple syrup. toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, honey, cooked pears, some leather.
Taste: Citrus, warm honey, walnuts, toasted oak, vanilla, caramel, dried apricots, reminiscent of stone fruit.
Finish: Long lasting, soft, sweetish, lemon cake, milk chocolate.
