Although the distillery was opened in 1985, it had to be closed again in 1992. In 2011, light came back into the darkness and the distillery was able to produce whisky again. Thanks to the revival of the Shinshu distillery, new releases, such as this Limited Edition, can be brought to market regularly. This delicate and extremely fruity whisky matures 800 metres above sea level in ex-bourbon casks and American white oak barrels. In addition, the distillery reveals that the Limited Edition may also be matured in various other types of casks at the Shinshu distillery.Tasting notes:Colour: Light amber.
