Tamnavulin is a whisky distillery in Scotland, which has only existed under this name since 2000. Tamnavulin is Gaelic and means "mill on the hill" or "mill in the mountains". The distillery was opened in 1966 and closed again in 1995. After a name change and some renovation work, the distillery was allowed to reopen its doors in 2007. Today, typical Speyside Whisky with a strong character is produced here. The Tamnavulin Sherry Cask Whisky matures in American oak casks and gets a finish in three different sherry casks.Tasting notes:Colour: Bright amber.
