Tekirdag is a provincial capital located not far from the Turkish capital Istanbul. The region of the same name is also affectionately called the 'Pearl of Marmara' in Turkey. Best Turkish aniseed and 100% fresh grapes are used. The processing takes place traditionally in copper kettles. This is followed by several months of maturation in oak barrels.Tasting notes:Mild, velvety, very fruity and aromatic taste. It is best to enjoy this raki pure, with water or on ice. Goes very well with seafood, legumes & dairy products.
